Vanilla&Coconut Cake / Vanila i kokos torta


When something is so tasty and delicious that no one can resist and everyone start smiling on the first taste of it, that is something what makes me happy and that is what this cake is. Even if people are not so much in love with vanilla, they will love this combination. Trust me, I saw it.

Ingredients for cake:

3 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup custard sugar

1/2 cup coconut

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 eggs (room temperature)

1 cup milk

1 cup oil

2 tablespoons vanilla

1 cup warm water

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

Ingredients for filling and decoration:

4 sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)

1 cup cream cheese

3 cups custard sugar

2 tablespoons vanilla

1/3 cup coconut

Preparation (cake):

Preheat oven on 275 degrees. In one bowl mix together flour, sugar, custard sugar, coconut, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir and mix together until is smooth. Stir warm water in the mixture and mix for a few more minutes. Add and stir heavy whipping cream at the end.

Place the part of mixture in oval baking pan with the baking paper on the bottom and bake for around 15-20 minutes (every oven is different) until cake is golden brown on top and not wet inside, and you can always check with a toothpick is it done or not yet.

Bake the rest of the mixture. If you have more that one baking pan, you can bake more at the same time.

Leave cakes to cool down. In meanwhile prepare the filling for the cake.

Preparation (filling):

Mix the butter on the room temperature for around 5 minutes on the medium speed. Add cream cheese and mix together until it's smooth. Stir custard sugar, mix together again and add vanilla at the end. Leave in the fridge for 15-20 minutes. Fill the piping bag.

Make in order, cake, filling, sprinkle the coconut on top and put all layers until you're done. Decorate by your wish.

Ima li sta savrsenije nego kada je nesto toliko ukusno da niko ne moze odoleti... Momenat koji izmami osmeh u uglu usana na prvi zagrizaj, onoga ko proba poslasticu, mene uvek cini srecnom i to je upravo ova torta. Cak i za one koji nisu toliki ljubitelji vanile, ova kombinacija obara sa nogu... Verujte mi, videla sam.

Sastojci za tortu:

3 solje brasna

1 1/2 solja secera

1 solja secera u prahu

1/2 solje kokosa

2 kasicice praska za pecivo

1 kasicica sode

1/2 kasicice soli

3 jajeta (sobna temperatura)

1 solja mleka

1 solja ulja

2 kasike vanile

1 solja mlake vode

1/2 solje slatke pavlake

Sastojci za fil:

400 gr. putera (sobna temperatura)

120 gr. krem sira

3 solje secera u prahu

2 kasike vanile

1/3 solje kokosa

Priprema za korice:

Zagrejati rernu na 180 stepeni. U jednoj posudi promesati brasno, secer, secer u prahu, kokos, prasak za pecivo, sodu i so. Dodati jaja, mleko, ulje i vanilu i sve to sjediniti i umiksati zajedno dok smesa nije potpuno sjedinjenja. U tu mesavinu doliti mlaku vodu i opet sve izmiksati dok se ne sjedini. Na kraju dodati slatku pavlaku i jako kratko promesati.

Deo smese uliti u okrugli pleh za tortu sa postavljenim papirom za pecenje na dnu i peci korice, jednu po jednu, nekih 15-20 minuta (svaka rerna je drugacija), dok korice ne postanu zlatno braon. Za dodatnu proveru, koristiti cackalicu koju mozete zabosti u sredinu torte i proveriti da li je zavrseno. Ukoliko je cackalica jos uvek mokra, produziti, ako je suva, izvaditi iz rerne i ostaviti koricu da se hladi. U medjuvremenu napraviti fil.

Priprema za fil:

Umiksati puter, sobne temperature, nekih 5 minuta na srednjoj brzini. Dodati krem sir i sve umutiti zajedno. Dodati secer u prahu i na kraju vanilu kada je sve dobro sjedinjeno. Ostaviti da se ohladi u frizideru 15-20 minuta i nakon toga napuniti poslasticarkse kese za filovanje.

Kada su korice ohladjene, iseci vrhove i poravnati. Redjati koricu, zatim fil i pousti kokos i tako se do poslednjeg sloja. Dekoristati po zelji.
