Meringue & Daily Routine


Hello everyone! Finally back! Life is very busy these days and it's fun for me finding that people are seeing just bright moments, following my posts on social medias. Which is ok, because I like sharing just positive things. But reality can be different sometimes and that is not keeping me from what I want to do and share.

For me most challenging during the week and day is organization of time and managing all things that I want to do in 24 hours. As a working mom, 6 of 7 days per week, I also like spending time baking, reading, cooking, writing, working out, with my camera, blogging... And many more. But in reality, things can be different. Cooking, for example, can be wonderful for me, only when I have that one day off (but I want to do so many things than), and it's not so fun when kids and I arrive home from my work around 7.30 pm. That is already time for dinner, bath and bad. So, cooking is not fun in that time or early morning. Working out is reserved for 2 to 3 times per week (best case scenario). Friday evening , after work, is reserved for baking, plus Saturday, if is possible. That only day off is also for: family, going out, photography, tv, music, reading, cleaning etc. Interesting?

As all of this is happening and I'm usually on the Roller Coaster on daily basses, this blogging is suffering, a lot. So, finally I have a new recipe for you and many more waiting to be posted here. Now about So So popular Meringue...Very easy and fast dessert... That is what we need. Yes?

Ingredients:

4 egg whites

2 cups of sugar

Pinch of salt

1 teaspoon of vanilla

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 230 degrees F. In an electric mixer or bowl beat egg whits until foamy, as longer better (around 7-10 minutes). Add salt and continue to beat, adding 1 tablespoon at the time. Add vanilla and beat until stuff and glossy. You can also use some color that you like.

Use the pastry bag with large plan tip. Pipe meringues on baking paper in coils starting from the center and filling full circle.

Bake around 45 minutes with door of the oven a little bit open. Leave to cool and serve like you like.

Zdravo svima! Konacno stigoh nazad! Kako je zivot veoma zauzet ovih dana, nalazim veoma zanimljivim kako ljudi dozivljavaju sve veoma zabavnim kod mene, prateci drustvene mreze. Sto je i ok, jer ja volim da delim samo pozitivne momente. Ali realnost ume biti i drugacija, sto me ne zadrzava da i dalje radim ono sto volim i zelim.

Najveci izazov tokom nedelje mi je organizacija dana i nedelje, kao i svega sto zelim da uradim u 24 casa. Kao zaposlena mama i to 6 od 7 dana u nedelji, takodje volim da providim vreme u pravljenju poslastica, kuvanju, citanju, pisanju, fotografiji, vezbanju.... I jos mnogo toga. Ali u realnosti, stvari mogu biti drugacije. Tako kuvanje npr. je pravo uzivanje kada imam slobodan dan, a imam samo jedan i zelim ga iskoristiti i za gomilu drugih stvari. Tako da kuvanje, ostalih 6 dana u nedelji, kada se kuci vratim sa decom oko 19.30 uvece ili rano ujutu i nije toliko zabavno i inspirativno, da budem iskrena.

Vezbanje je u planu 2 do 3 puta nedeljno (to je najbolji scenarijo, cesto neostvaren). Petak uvece je rezervisan za poslastice, u to upada i subota kada imam da radim i gomilu drugih zeljenih i nezeljenih stvari. Taj jedini slobodan dan je i za: porodicu, izlazak, prijatelje, fotografiju, tv, citanje, ciscenje... Interesantno? Mh.

Kako se ova vrteska desava na dnevnoj bazi, deljenje recpata i pisanja ovde pati, poprilicno. Tako da pronadjoh malo vremena za recept koji vec neko vreme zelim da podelim, ali i jos mnogo drugih koji stoje i cekaju u mojoj svesci. Tako da uskoro novi, nadam se (ne obecavam). Ali tu su moje drustvene mreze, gde sam mnogo aktivija , Instagram (@alexsososweet) i Facebook (Alex So So Sweet), lakse je i brze. :)

Sada malo vise o tako popularnim Meringue, sto bi mi rekli, puslicama. Brzo i lako... To nam je potrebno, zar ne?

Sastojci:

4 belanceta

2 case secera

Prstohvat soli

Kasicica ekstrakta vanile

Pripema:

Zagrejati rernu na 110 stepeni C. Umititi belanca u mikseru ili ciniji (ja preferiram mikser), sto duze to bolje (7-10 minuta). Dodati so i zatim kasiku po kasiku dodavati secer. Na kraju dodati vanilu i mutiti dok smesa nije cvrsta i sjajna.

Napuniti poslasticarksu kesu sa velikim nastavkom po zelji. Istisnuti na papir za pecenje pocevsi od centra i napuniti ceo krug.

Peci u polu otvorenoj rerni oko 45 minuta. Kako je svaka rerna drugacija, voditi racuna i proveravati. Gotovo je kada spoljasnost vise nije mekana i kada se mogu odlepiti od papira.

Ohladiti i posluziti po zelji.
